Taste Kitchen + Bar Hosts 2nd Annual Uncle Nearest HBCU Old Fashioned Challenge: A Taste of History

Taste Kitchen + Bar is proud to launch "A Taste of History" campaign in support of the 2nd Annual Uncle Nearest HBCU Old Fashioned Challenge. This initiative celebrates Black History Month and aims to raise $1.4 million for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). From now until June 19, 2024, patrons can enjoy specialty cocktails while contributing to a meaningful cause at Taste Kitchen + Bar's downtown location.

Celebrating Black History:

Located at 420 Main Street in Downtown Houston, Taste Kitchen + Bar invites guests to experience "A Taste of History" both inside and out. The restaurant has adorned its windows with custom wraps, showcasing the remarkable story of Uncle Nearest, the pioneering African American master distiller behind the best-selling Black-owned spirits brand in the world.

Crafted Cocktails for a Cause:

As the leading seller of Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey in Houston, Taste Kitchen + Bar presents an exclusive Uncle Nearest Old Fashioned Challenge Menu. Featuring three tantalizing cocktails made with Uncle Nearest whiskey, each sip contributes to the fundraising efforts. For every Old Fashioned purchased, $1 will be donated to the Challenge campaign, with Uncle Nearest generously matching donations nationwide to support HBCU scholarships.
