Fort Bend County Libraries' University Branch Library is proud to present "I'm Retired & I Need a Purpose!" - a dynamic program as part of the Senior Series tailored for older adults and their families. Taking place on Friday, February 16, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon, this enlightening event will unfold in Meeting Room 1 of the library, nestled at 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, conveniently located on the UH campus.
Renowned senior real-estate specialist and certified senior-housing professional, Liz McNeel, will lead a panel of esteemed experts in a deep dive into the journey of finding purpose in retirement. Participants will explore pathways to discovering a sense of fulfillment, gaining meaning, enhancing overall happiness, and embracing the richness of life's possibilities post-retirement. Through insightful discussions and practical guidance, attendees will uncover strategies to define and redefine the new chapter of life in retirement.
Attendees are advised to utilize the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4) for parking convenience. Upon arrival, simply present the parking-ticket stub at the check-out desk inside the library to be validated by our courteous library staff. Rest assured, parking is complimentary upon validation by the library. Please note that parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston, so we encourage adherence to designated parking areas.
This enriching program is offered free of charge and is open to the public. For additional details and inquiries, interested individuals are encouraged to visit the Fort Bend County Libraries website at www.fortbend.lib.tx.us.
