At approximately 5:18 a.m., an off-duty police officer made a distressing call to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, reporting a gunshot wound victim. The victim, a Hispanic male in his 30s, was found inside a vehicle parked at a convenience store located in the 1200 block of Crabb River Road in Richmond, Texas. The officer's prompt report initiated a swift response from law enforcement.

Investigators quickly identified the victim, who was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he is receiving medical treatment. The investigation revealed that the shooting was the culmination of a physical altercation that took place earlier that morning at a residence in the 1900 block of Rocky Falls in Richmond.
