The Periwinkle Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Iron Bartender competition, set to take place on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the stylish Lyric Market in downtown Houston. This premier event brings together some of the city’s most talented bartenders for an evening of mixology, competition, and philanthropy—all in support of a noble cause.

Shaking Up the Night for a Good Cause

The Iron Bartender competition is not just a showcase of Houston's top bartenders but a crucial fundraiser for The Periwinkle Foundation’s programs supporting pediatric cancer patients at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center. Over the summer, celebrated bartenders from some of Houston’s best restaurants and bars crafted signature “Periwinkle Cocktails,” with $1 from each sale donated to the foundation. These cocktails were judged by a panel of experts, and the top five bartenders have earned a coveted spot in the final competition.
