As Beyoncé fans eagerly await the upcoming RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR at NRG Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 23, and Sunday, Sept. 24, METRO is here to provide convenient and affordable transportation options to the event.
The METRORail Red Line is a go-to choice for transportation to and from NRG Park, with METRO's Stadium Park/Astrodome platform located just steps from the venue. To accommodate heightened passenger demand during the two-day event, METRO is rolling out additional trains three hours before each performance. Passengers can also look forward to special Beyoncé-related announcements at rail platforms throughout the weekend (click on the YouTube link below to listen). Here's what fans can expect: Effortless Ticketing: Rides on METRORail and local buses are just $1.25 each way. METRO offers hassle-free transit fare purchasing through METRO's Q Mobile Ticketing app. Ticket vending machines are also conveniently placed at rail platforms. If you already have a METRO Q Fare Card, you're all set. Beyhive Buses: To reduce wait times after the concert, METRO is also deploying "Beyhive" buses that will travel along the METRORail's Red Line route, making stops at bus stations near rail stops. During periods of heavy congestion along rail, concert attendees may be directed to these dedicated event buses. Our goal is to ensure continuous transit service until platforms are free of crowds. Parking: If you're looking for parking near rail, METRO has approximately 1,000 spaces available at the Fannin South Transit Center. It's just $20 per vehicle and the cost includes rail fare for everyone in the vehicle. Please note that parking is cash-only, and the lot opens at 5 p.m. Easy Trip Planning: Whether you're a seasoned transit user or need assistance planning your journey, visit rideMETRO.org/NRG for METRORail access details and nearby bus routes. Riders are also encouraged to download the METRO Trip app which offers step-by-step itineraries. Safety is a Priority: METRO will have supervisors, fare inspectors, and METRO Police on hand to assist customers. We remind everyone to use designated pedestrian crossings, obey signals, and be aware of oncoming trains. For more information, please visit our website.
