On Saturday, September 2, 2023 Girl Boss Suites rolled out the red carpet at The Post Oak Hilton to honor local businesswomen who have excelled in their field of expertise ranging from boutique owners, transportation, hairstylist, beauty experts and more. Since the top of the summer, Houstonians had submitted women that should be honored during the first Girl Boss Awards.

Girl Boss Suites celebrated over 30 nominees with a red-carpet experience, good vibes provided by DJ Jordan, and an exquisite cuisine. The support in the room was immaculate as tables filled with nominees’ clients, family, and friends.

As the hostess, Berry Dynamic, awarded each winner they expressed their gratitude towards Girl Boss Suites as well as celebrated each Girl Boss in attendance. Winners shared stories of their trials and tribulations along their journey to attain their goal of entrepreneurship, some experiencing such hardships as homelessness, betrayal, single parent life, and divorce.

The celebration wrapped up with networking, dancing, and sharing of business advice from one Girl Boss to the other.
