Gobble, gobble! Turkey trot your way to Children’s Museum Houston for a Thanksgiving week stuffed with special events. Get into the holiday spirit of pumpkin spice and everything nice!

SPECIAL EVENTS:

• MONDAY: TURKEY JAM

o Turkey DJ & Games, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Kid’s Hall Alcove.

• TUESDAY: LIVE TURKEY PARDON

o Live Turkey: Say “hello” to the live turkey we will be pardoning, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

o Turkey Pardon: Join us as the Kid’s Committee pardons the live turkey at noon.

o Thanksgiving Vests: Design Thanksgiving vests in Alexander Art Academy, all day

• WEDNESDAY: PUMPKIN CHUNKIN’

o Pumpkin Chunkin’ Relay: Race to see which pumpkin makes the biggest splash at 1 p.m.

o Pumpkin Chunkin’: Create catapults to launch “mini pumpkins,” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• THURSDAY: CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING DAY

• FRIDAY: THANKSGIVING WITH SANTA

o Changing of the Seasons Ceremony: Join The Ensemble Theatre as the Great Gobbler passes the holiday season to Santa, at noon and 2 p.m.

o Santa & Elf Meet & Greet, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Kid’s Hall Alcove.

• SATURDAY: GUESS WHOs IN TOWN?

o Grinch-Inspired DJ & Games, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Kid’s Hall Alcove.

o Cindy Lou Themed Story Time, at 2, 3 and 4 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.

• SUNDAY: EXPRESS CHILDREN’S THEATRE RHYME AND REASON

o Poetry and Dance Workshop, at 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
