JINYA Ramen Bar Celebrates Grand Opening in Spring Branch

Acclaimed Japanese ramen restaurant to open ninth restaurant in Houston area on May 10

Houston, you DON’T have a ramen problem, thanks to JINYA Ramen Bar. The acclaimed Japanese restaurant – famous for its bold noodles that are cooked with thick, rich broth – is celebrating a ninth location in Space City with a grand opening in Spring Branch on May 10.

Located at 8141 Long Point Rd in the Energy Corridor near downtown Houston, JINYA will offer more than a dozen acclaimed dishes that are slowly simmered for 20 hours to ensure a deep flavor that is sure to satisfy any tastebuds. Opening day festivities begin with the first 50 guests in line at 11 a.m. to receive FREE ramen bowl, and then again for the first 50 guests in line for dinner at 5 p.m.

“Houston has already shown so much love for JINYA, so it seemed right to open a new location in one of the city’s largest suburban neighborhoods with a community that is so diverse,” said CEO and Founder Tomo Takahashi. “We can’t wait for the fine folks of Spring Branch to get their first taste of our thick, rich broth and truly understand what it means to be a part of real ramen culture.”

Following the grand opening, the new JINYA in Spring Branch – the brand’s 12th in Texas – will serve guests from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For those that visit, be sure to check out the May Chef Specials, including Suan-La-Tang Tsukemen – thick noodles served with a side of hot-and-sour pork broth and topped with pork soboro, green onion, shiitake mushroom, bamboo shoot, seasoned egg, bokchoy, nori, sesame seed and lime.
