Fort Bend County Judge KP George will host his Annual Fort Bend County Juneteenth Celebration on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Landmark Community Center, located at 100 Louisiana St., Missouri City, TX 77469.

This year's Juneteenth Celebration promises to be a memorable event, featuring various vendors including the Houston Dynamo FC, entertainment, dance performances, and insightful presenters. The festivities will begin at 2:00 p.m., with attendees having the opportunity to explore the diverse range of vendors and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

A significant highlight of the celebration will be the Recognition Ceremony held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., where community honorees will be recognized for their outstanding contributions. This year's honorees include community advocate Felicia Moon Thomas, Retired Executive Pastor of the Vineyard Church Rachel Connor, Fort Bend Heritage Unlimited Museum’s Mable Huff York, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rosenberg Pastor Dr. Stephan Kalonji.
