Sugar Land's Fish City Grill to Undergo Transformation

Fish City Grill and Half Shells are restaurants known and loved for their fresh seafood and welcoming atmosphere. The Sugar Land location, located in Sugar Land Town Square at 15980 City Walk, originally opened in 2006. Now, the popular seafood destination will undergo a dramatic facelift. The restaurant will be closed for renovations at 3pm on July 9, reopening for dinner on Friday, July 21.

While the restaurant will reopen with a dramatic, fresh appearance, it will still feature the same great team members and delicious, fresh seafood customers have grown to love. What will change is the look: The new design better reflects the coastal vibe for which Fish City Grill has come to be known.

“From the time diners approach the restaurant, they’ll notice the amazing changes. The front façade will be completely redesigned with a clean contemporary patio, too,” said the restaurant’s co-founder, Bill Bayne. “The light, bright aesthetic continues throughout the restaurant, with new paint, flooring and beautiful new upholstery throughout. Our new environment really transports our customers to a coastal spot.”

The restaurant remains committed to three driving passions: to serve great seafood at affordable prices, to be the best job a team member ever has and to make everyone, team members and customers, feel better about life after they leave the restaurant than before they came in.
