Harris County Precinct 4’s Shakespeare in the Shade concludes its 10th-anniversary celebration with this weekend’s performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

For the past 10 years, Precinct 4’s Shakespeare theater company, Shakespeare in the Shade, has thrilled audiences with family-friendly performances of The Bard’s world-renowned plays. This year, to celebrate a decade of artistic service to Precinct 4, Shakespeare in the Shade returns to the play that started it all – “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

All performances are free of charge and open to the public.

Friday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. (Tracy Gee Community Center) and Sunday, April 30, 2 p.m. (Weekley Community Center)

Friday’s show: Tracy Gee Community Center— 3599 Westcenter Drive, Houston. Sunday’s show: Weekley Community Center— 8440 Greenhouse Road, Cypress.
