Mayor Sylvester Turner and Cigna Healthcare invite Houstonians to be physically active and explore neighborhood parks through Cigna Sunday in the Park. This free spring series (March, April, and May) will promote health and community and it features live music, games, dancing, and fun activities for the whole family.
“I am thrilled to continue celebrating the neighborhoods of Houston through Cigna Sunday in the Park, made possible by our ongoing partnership with Cigna Healthcare,” said Mayor Sylvester Turner. “Cigna Sunday in the Park is a wonderful opportunity to explore new areas in the city and create meaningful memories in the community.”
The Mayor’s Office of Special Events will kick off the spring series on Sunday, March 26, at Schwartz Park. The monthly series will continue to relocate and highlight different neighborhoods in April and May. Cigna Sunday in the Park provides a family-friendly activities for residents, while invoking a sense of community pride.

Cigna Sunday in the Park is a reimagined version of Cigna Sunday Streets, launched in 2014, to support local neighborhood economies. Cigna Sunday in the Park debuted in 2021 to promote whole-person health and to allow Houstonians to connect in a safe and healthy environment.
