Cedrick D. Forrest is a military veteran and Houston-based attorney dedicated to being an advocate in the community and empowering minority youth who aspire to practice law. The young attorney recognizes there is a lack of African-American attorneys, especially in South Texas. "People in the community want attorneys to look like them and be relatable," Forrest stated. Growing up in Paris, TX, a small town at the cusp of Oklahoma, Forrest was adopted and raised by a single mother who took him in at a very young age. As a young kid, Forrest always had his heart set on moving to a big city and surpassing his wildest dreams. Being smart, aggressive and personal is not just his firm's descriptive qualities but these are the actions he followed to get to where he is today. After high school, Forrest went into the military where he was a Hospital Corpsman who rendered emergency medical treatment in a combat environment.
During Forrest's time in the military, he was deployed to Iraq. Deployment gave him a life-changing outlook and when he got back to the states he made an oath within his revealing purpose to fight for people. His focus in personal injury comes as no surprise because unlike most lawyers, his background in medicine helps him achieve a personal level of understanding in pursuing the best results for his clients. Forrest attended the University of Houston and University of Houston Law Center where he excelled and landed multiple opportunities with some of Texas' top attorneys. With over 300 cases and counting, Forrest has traveled from Corpus Christi, Dallas, and many other cities within Texas to represent clients in need. Now, a husband and father of two, the attorney runs his own firm under Cedrick D. Forrest Law, PLLC. where they specialize in personal injury and civil litigation.
