Description

The 27th annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run will take place Saturday, March 1, 2014. The event raises scholarship funds for Texas youth by supporting the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ (HLSR) Educational Fund. In 2013, the Rodeo Run surpassed the $3.7 million milestone for the Educational Fund, helping make college dreams a reality for Texas students.

The Rodeo Run is known throughout the Southern region for its fun and festive atmosphere, complete with a costume contest and a Texas-sized post-race party. Runners and walkers will experience plenty of Texas hoopla along the 5K and 10K courses as they lead off the HLSR Parade. For the second year in a row, participants will run the entire HLSR parade route.

For safety reasons, there will not be a baggage drop at the start of the event. Bags and backpacks are not permitted at the start or finish lines.
