Photos by Vicky Pink - Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Mayor Sylvester Turner, and UofH President Renu Khator broke ground on a $19 million Cullen Boulevard construction project to improve mobility and drainage in the area. Precinct One will contribute $15 million, the city to contribute $4 million, and UofH will pay for amenities such as pedestrian lighting, bus shelter, and benches. The groundbreaking took place on October 21st.
