Photography by Mike Munoz - The inaugural Astroworld Festival overtook Houston over the weekend. More than 40,000 people attended the sold out festival that stemmed from festival founder/curator Travis Scott. It was true celebration of hip-hop with performances by Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Gunna, Metro Boomin, Sheck Wes, Trippie Redd, Virgil Alboh, The Houston All Stars and more. Nostalgia filled the air as Travis incorporated elements of a theme park as a tribute to the former AstroWorld theme park. Anyone who wasn’t in attendance is kicking themselves and making sure to mark their calendars for next year’s festival.
