Photography by Vicky Pink- Myrtle Jones invited friends and supporters to come shop for a cause at Gucci at Saks Fifth Avenue to raise money for the United Negro College Fund’s A Mind Is Gala coming up on November 17th. Shawntell McWilliams is the gala chair with honorary chairs Chris & Divya Brown and James & Marla Davis. H-E-B is a presenting sponsor and Shell is a reception sponsor. Morris Day and the Time provided entertainment. As attendees spent dollars at Gucci, the brand in turn donated 10% of the sales of the night to UNCF. Some in attendance were Brandon McClendon, Bryce Kennard, Carolyn Kennard, and Nicole Walters.
