Photography by Vicky Pink - For one night only art from Zimbabwe in the Moyo Collection was on display at the Buffalo Soldiers Museum. Emerging young talented sculptors were in Houston to showcase their work and also chiseled pieces right before attendees’ eyes. Zimbabwe sculpture broke out onto the world stage with works by the “First Generation” artists collected by Queen Elizabeth, as well as major collections worldwide. A percentage of the art showing hosted by Amanda Brock, Myrtle Jones, Angela Lee, and Shawntell McWilliams benefitted Genesys Works Houston.
