March of Dimes Board Trustee Reception

The March of Dimes national board of trustees picked the place for their June meeting, Houston, Texas. Before they got to business, President & CEO of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Project Foundation, Inc. and former Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Harry Johnson welcomed trustees and guests to an intimate evening reception on the campus of Texas Southern University. It was a night for conversations and cocktails to learn about the advancements of March of Dimes, which impacts the health of mothers and babies across the country. Some in attendance were Mayor Sylvester Turner, Dr. Austin Lane, Rep. Shawn Thierry, Trustee David Lakey, Dr. Lisa Hollier, Dr. Joanie Hare, and Barbara Seymour.
