Photography by Vicky Pink - Comedian/Actor Michael Blackson was so affected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey that he had to come to Houston in person to offer help. On a previous visit, Texas State Rep. Jarvis Johnson personally took Blackson on a tour to see the devastation of the city. Blackson made a promise to return to Houston to assist evacuees. He made good on his promise by taking some of the families affected by Hurricane Harvey on a shopping spree along with Rep. Johnson to get food, clothes, and supplies in an effort to help families get back on their feet.
