The distinguished list of honorees included Attorney Ben Hall, Judge Toni Middleton Lewis, Attorney Brian Walters, Attorney Angela Graves-Harrington, Honorable Della Lewis, Honorable Mary Williams, Honorable Gerald Birnberg, Pastor Charvin Burns Sr., Honorable LaKisha Ledbetter-Anderson, Honorable Erica Lee Carter, and Honorable Alaine Lillie. Commissioner Rodney Ellis emceed the event that was also attended by Mayor Sylvester Turner, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, Judge Ursula Hall, Jake Gilbreath, Lynnmaries Turner, Roneika Lewis Edwards, Sineca Walker, Louise Birnberg, Sheree Wilmore-Roberts, Alphonso Anderson, Roy Carter, Tiffany Lille, Honorable Clara Caldwell, Emily Walker, Tapatha Richard, and Apostle C.
