Photography by Vicky Pink - Chauncy Glover is empowering a generation of young leaders as the founder of the Chauncy Glover Project, a mentoring program that grooms inner-city teenage boys into accomplished gentleman. During the inaugural black tie gala hosted by actor Christian Keyes, a packed house saw how the teens literally broke the chains and cycle of incarceration to escape the juvenile justice system. Kia Renee of The Session TV Show hosted the preshow red carpet experience. In addition, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Constable Alan Rosen, Pastor Marcus D. Cosby, Darryl Gaines, Marcus Davis, and Andre Johnson were all honored. Proceeds from the gala will support the Chauncy Glover Project Houston’s scholastic and community programs.
