8th Women in the Fast Lane of STEAM

Photography by Vicky Pink - It was an afternoon of fun and fashion for the ladies of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce. They were celebrating role models who are leaders in their Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math (STEAM) careers at their 8th Annual Women in the Fast Lane of STEAM Luncheon and Leadership Style Show. Under the “Fashions Fade, Style is Eternal,” 39 ladies were honored at the event chaired by Leila Perrin, Dana Kervin, and Shawntell McWilliams. There were special presentations by students from Codwell Elementary and Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy. The annual affair will benefit the programs of the Chamber. Some in attendance were GHWCC’s CEO & President Suzan Deison, GHWCC’s Chair of the Board Valerie Gibbs, Deborah Duncan, Merele Yarborough, Cherin Cox, Myah Gilbert, Biana Ijezie, Lala Cosey, and Ashley Ijezie.
