Comcast Business Launches Webinar Series to Support Businesses of All Sizes

Comcast and industry experts explore critical topics facing today’s business community

As individuals and organizations around the world respond to and work to respond to the pandemic, it is important for businesses to stay connected to information. The top priority of any business should be protecting the health of customers and employees, while continuing to provide the best service possible.

More than ever, it is critical for businesses to stay connected and learn to navigate the current environment, including strategies on how to rethink their short- and long-term goals and leverage technology to remain productive and nimble with their operations.

“With our network of industry experts and strategic partners, we’ve compiled a collection of new webinars to support and empower the business community,” said Vince Margiotta, vice president of Comcast Business in the Houston Region. “Our hope is that these webinars will inform businesses of all sizes as they adapt their operations and adjust their technology strategies to help them remain connected, agile and secure, now and in the future.”

There are currently four (4) webinars confirmed to execute throughout the month of May. The webinars are 30 minutes each, exploring a variety of topics.

The theme for the month of May is “The Road to Recovery” and the topics are all relevant to the sudden changes thrust on businesses these last couple of months. Last month, the series examined the response to the crisis - Are the transitions made to accommodate the crisis permanent and what will be the effect on the business landscape going forward? This month, it shifts to the journey to recovery and what the “next normal” will look like.

It is Comcast Businesses goal to help provide helpful information for businesses of all sizes, as an integral part of a thought leadership community to help inform decision-making as business emerges with different needs and a stronger focus on technological transformation.

Join us on May 28 at 1:00PM ET for Strengthening your telehealth program to respond to COVID-19 demand and beyond.

COVID-19 has transformed telehealth from a point of convenience to a tool of necessity. Healthcare organizations have been forced to rapidly scale up virtual visits, remote patient monitoring and other telehealth services as patients are unable or unwilling to visit brick-and-mortar locations. This has put unprecedented stress on healthcare networks, stretching their capacity like never before, and it is likely the new normal. During this webinar, industry experts will discuss how hospital technology networks are coping and their predictions for the future, including insights from New York Presbyterian and its NYP OnDemand digital health program.
