BakerRipley and Texas Southern University will commemorate Juneteenth Jubilee celebration honoring the legacy of black Houstonians. The special event will bring together three generations of African- American Houstonians for an intergenerational discussion about the significance of Juneteenth and how each generation’s experience and wisdom contributes to the expansion of our communities.

The celebration is an opportunity to reflect on Juneteenth and what it means, not only to African-Americans, but to all Americans. This event will remind Houstonians that Juneteenth is not only about examining our past, but is also looking to the future to improve our communities. BakerRipley and Texas Southern University will be working together to support our neighbors by bringing more opportunities to the area.
