Houston (March 14, 2016)- Capital One Bank -- with the help of partnering organizations Camara de Empresarios Latinos de Houston and SCORE -- will host a free all-day small business seminar in both English and Spanish to kick off Houston Money Week. The inaugural "Build Your Business, Build Your Future" workshop is designed to equip small business owners with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in today's economy.

Participants will be given vital information on topics such as creating or updating business plans; human resources; marketing; access to capital and much more. They will also have opportunities to connect with other business owners, mentors, financial advisors and industry experts.

The "Build Your Business, Build Your Future" Workshop is a part of Houston Money Week, a community-wide initiative to empower individuals, families, veterans and small business owners across greater Houston with financial education, assistance, free educational seminars and activities. Houston Money Week runs April 9-16.

The workshops will be held in both English and Spanish. A "Meet your Mentors" reception will be held Thursday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m.
